Celebrating local interests ‘Hope Valley Fringe 2018’ offered a platform for artists, writers, musicians, photographers, craftspeople, artisans, and businesses to showcase their talents.

For this exhibition I use the constraints of space, time and materials, as an experimental site to explore ideas of 'assemblages', 'configuration' and 'reconfiguration’. Working with sculptural ceramics produced in association with, but not directly part of, my research, I examine and document the configurations that emerge through a range of lenses. These frame, illuminate, reflect and magnify - drawing the eye in to particular features - but also, inevitably, distort and restrict the field of vision.
