TRANSPOSITION I – 'unmake'
‘Transposition I’ addresses the crossing of boundaries between art (psycho)therapy and the fine arts, the transfer and unmaking of previous practices, and the subject of how personal material that may (in one context) remain private becomes material for artistic and research practice.
Drawing on written and photographic notes I explore this unmaking of practice, and the inherent risks of personal exposure through the performance, production, and presentation of works such as INTIMACY UNGUARDED, A GRAND DECEPTION and the TESTING TESTING project.
